Lisa Gidley makes color photographs. Before winding up in Oregon, she lived in Missouri, Texas, Virginia, the District of Columbia and New York City. She studied at the University of Missouri and the International Center of Photography in New York. She now resides in Portland with her husband, Douglas Wolk, and their young son, Sterling.
